presentation:

common presentation is that of chronic liver

disease
with signs of liver cell failure and portal

hypertension

patients present as acute hepatitis causing

initial
diagnostic confusion with infective hepatitis

Hepatic
insufficiency may develop rapidly and

in signs of fulminant hepatic failure
