Development Partnerships in Higher Education (DelPHE) is a collaborative project between Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal, and Nuffield Centre for International Research and Development, University of Leeds, U.K.
The objective of the DelPHE Project in Nepal is to assist in building research capacity within the Institute of Medicine post-graduate faculty members, by providing Research Methods Workshops, and assisting in obtaining funds to enable them to conduct research in their own proposed areas. Trained human resources can further contribute their knowledge and expertise to new researchers/faculty members, in designing and implementing research activities. It is expected that through the project a large number of much needed skilled Health Professionals in the field of Health Research will be generated within the institute/country.
Therefore, DelPHE, Nepal has organized workshops on basic research methods and SPSS Data management. The workshops were provided to under-graduate and post-graduate students studying at Institute of Medicine, Nepal.
